aaaa TYSM!!! i’m sorry i don’t have much advice to offer you on my process as it tends to be hoping for the best (｡╯︵╰｡) i save a lot of art that has color palettes that inspire me and study them; this can be a great jumping off point when starting a piece and figuring out the mood you’re aiming for. overtime you’ll start to have a sense of what colors you want the more you experiment and observe what inspiring artists are doing!
it can be frustrating when the colors just aren’t coming together and are all kinds of muddy, but i believe in you!
